Jubilee Jewellers are a 100% family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Greater Wellington region for two generations.
Our story
Founded in 1993 by husband and wife Steve and Jan Crout, Jubilee Jewellers are one of Wellington’s most experienced jewellers. With Jan now happily retired, Jubilee Jewellers is now in the safe hands of their youngest sons, Michael and Paul.
One day Steve would love to semi-retire, but for now, he is thrilled to be working alongside two of his sons to continue to deliver quality jewellery and exceptional customer service to Kiwis
Paul, Master Jeweller
Meet Paul, a talented jeweller with over 10 years of experience in the industry. Known for his unique artistic designs, Paul has become a go-to for customers looking for one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces that are both beautiful and meaningful.
When he's not busy creating stunning pieces of jewellery, Paul loves to play the bass guitar. He's been playing since he was a teenager and finds that music is a great way to unwind and express himself creatively. Whether he's playing classic rock or composing his own songs, Paul loves the way music can bring people together and touch their hearts.
Michael, Sales Director
Meet Michael, a seasoned Sales Manager with over 15 years of experience in the Jewellery industry across Australia and New Zealand. Like many kiwi's living overseas during the COVID-19 pandemic, Michael made the decision to return home to Wellington and since then he has been instrumental in driving the growth of Jubilee Jewellers since Jan's retirement in 2021.
On weekends, you can find him cheering for the Hurricanes, mastering the art of the harmonica, and crushing it in his video game battles.
Michael is also a DIY enthusiast who is currently renovating his modest classic kiwi home with his lovely wife, Jules.
Steve, Master Jeweller
Meet Steve, the ultimate gem of the jewellery industry! With over 40 years of experience, he is a qualified gemmologist and a Master Jeweller who can turn any piece of rock into pure magic.
When he's not busy crafting stunning jewellery pieces, Steve loves to cheer for the All Blacks, and boy, does he know how to celebrate their wins!
But that's not all - he's also got a green thumb and can be found tinkering in his garden on his days off.
Harvey, Apprentice
Meet Harvey, our adorable store mascot at Jubilee Jewellers. This lovable pup is the star of the show and is sure to brighten your day with his wagging tail and playful personality.
But Harvey isn't just a handsome face - he's also a hard worker. He takes his job very seriously and can often be found helping out around the store, whether it's greeting customers, fetching items, or just keeping an eye on things.

Jules, Marketing Manager
Meet Jules, a talented Marketing Manager with over 20 years of experience in the digital and marketing industry.
When Jules isn't busy working on marketing campaigns, she enjoys exploring the beautiful New Zealand countryside with her husband Michael and their dog, Harvey. She loves exploring, playing board games and has made it her personal mission to eat at every Mexican restaurant in the Greater Wellington region.
