Each year around March and September I travel on a buying expedition to Antwerp, Belgium. Antwerp is the diamond capital of the world and is where over 60% of the worlds rough and polished diamonds are traded. It is here that the largest cutters and dealers have their offices. These are situated in four large buildings. Through nationwide jewellers I have an office on the fifth floor of the diamond exchange building right in the heart of the district.

I select my  diamonds from very large parcels of ungraded diamonds(before they go to the laboratories for grading and are priced accordingly). In these parcels the diamonds are roughly organised into groups, mainly by weight, the colour varies from H through to D and the clarity ranges from SI to VVS. The cutting  quality varies as well. All the stones in the parcel are the same price per carat. My job is to use all my skills as a diamond graduate and all my experience of thirty years to select the very best and the most beautiful  ones for you.

I choose only the whitest. The cleanest and the most beautifully cut.

Most diamonds I choose  for my customers are in the DEF colours and you pay only  colour J prices .You also pay no more for stones that display hearts and arrows.

Because I deal with these larger suppliers the prices are also amazing and I am able to purchase at prices of 20% to 40% off my usual.

I have also been invited to view a selection of very exotic and rare natural coloured diamonds, which come in every colour of the rainbow.
